I have been a physician for approximately 22 years, graduated from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA, Brazil), dedicated to patient care throughout my entire career.
My board-certified (RQE) specialty is radiology, with a practice in general ultrasound and vascular Doppler. I completed my medical residency at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo and at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. I am a full member of the Brazilian College of Radiology (CBR).
Over the years, I also developed a deep interest and independent study in sports nutrology — through Faculdade e Instituto Caduceu —, endocrinology, and hormonal modulation — without, however, holding a specialist title (RQE) in these fields.
That complementary study, combined with more than two decades of clinical experience, is what led me to dedicate part of my practice to supporting people in the phase after weight loss: understanding what happened to the body, body composition, muscle mass and habits — and building, together with each patient, a sustainable way to live at the weight achieved.
